i went through different stages of thought upon reading this article, first it was confusion, then worry that we had some crazy new coaches...but once it all sunk in i realised how good an idea it was for the team, we had a lot of dropped passes last season, most were so simple someones grandma could have caught them, but none the less we still dropped a hell of a lot of passes when we shouldnt have. so as 'unconventional' as these new coaching tactics are they have the right idea behind them.

so thoughts, crazy idea which may result in all of our recivers breaking their fingers or toes?
or good idea to help prevent dropped passes?

That sound like a good drill to me. Seem like jerry rice caught bricks at some point, and he says they helped with having good hands and concentration
