| Vince Young On OTA's With the first two days of mini camp complete, Titans quarterback Vince Young said he felt good about the opening team sessions. ''We're going pretty fast and guys are getting winded,'' Young said. ''But we're still doing a good job of getting in shape. It was good to see the hard work and guys fighting through the heat.'' The OTA's consisted of just veterans, but gave Young an opportunity to work with some of the newest Titans, such as wide receiver Justin Gage and cornerback Nick Harper. ''All of those guys are going to do a great job,'' Young said. ''They’re new to our system but they’re out there working hard and paying attention.'' Gage has been the only free agent wide out to sign with the Titans to this point in the offseason, but Young said that showed the confidence that the team felt in the returning receiving corps. ''I believe in each and every one of these guys as well as the guys upstairs,'' Young said. ''I love this organization. These are my guys, my brothers and we're going to fight till the end.'' Young said that he was looking forward to meeting the rookies next week when the team combines for more mini camps. And while he enjoys his role as a leader on the team, Young added it will take a team effort if the Titans are to succeed in 2007. ''Once we come out and bond as a team we can win ball games,'' Young said. ''I'm just one of the leaders on the team, but it's not all about me. We have other great leaders on this team and we will have to work together to win.'' It's good to see that even though hes in a tough situation hes still being positive and not complaining and still is fired up..Vince is a natural leader.. ![]() Titans Radio: Young Pleased With Team's Dedication |
