Re: Raiders and Titans lead in Keyshawn race

so with us having drafted and brought in almost every single unknown reciever in the NFL, free agency and draft is it likely that we would sign Keyshawn as well? i would love to bring him into the team and would even be willing to get rid of Givens to do that but im not sure if the team will pick him up based on the fact we have so many recievers.

the raiders however have just drafted what i would assume is their Vince Young e.g. their franchise QB and after loosing Randy Moss will be looking to top up their recievers with some talent and probably veteran expreience so i think they will make more of a push to get Keyshawn than we will

so your thoughts, do we have more of a chance of getting Keyshawn than the Raiders and also what is more appealing about the Titans that might sway Keyshawn to come to Tennessee instead of going to Oakland?

I think with moss crashing at oakland it wouldnt be that appealing to keyshawn, I think he would like to come to tn and play with vince but I dont think we will pay him the money he wants, since the titans are on welfare and foodstamps, I see him going to greenbay or retiring and becoming an analyst, he did a good job during the draft..

Re: Raiders & Titans lead in Keyshawn race

taking what you said into consideration i think that Keyshawn is more likely to come to us if Oakland dont give him the offer he wants, i think he definatly wants to play for a few more seasons so i cant see him retiring, at the same time i dont see him going to Green Bay to play with the ageing Brett Farve...your right he might be more interested in playing with vince in tennessee but since the back room staff have decided that they would much prefer to spend the money on...i dunno thicker steaks for the board room meetings or something, i dont know if we will be able to sway him with the money, maybe it will just be the prospect of playing for the titans that will appeal to him rather than the money which is what most players are doing now-a-days

money wont be a problem bcuz he will come cheep and if it comes down to it he'll probably go to the titans bcuz he wants to go to a team with a chance to go to a playoff type team bafore he retires.
