Re: Titans: Rookie wideouts have chance to play early

so i suppose it is promising that we have some relatively unproven recievers in our ranks because that way we wont be going into the season expecting loads of great things from these guys and not getting it e.g what happened last season with Givens, we thought we were getting a great deal with an ex Super Bowl reciever, but he got injured and we had to look for our magic to come from somewhere else. i suppose in not drafting Meachem or Jarret we wont expect amazing things to come from our late pick recievers, that way we wont be dissapointed if they dont play to a Pro Bowl standard...right? or am i just to much of a pesimist

Its hard not to with some of the decisions reinfeldts made but I think we will be ok at wr, with givens coming back healthy, aquisiton of justin gage, brandon jones, and the draft rookie paul williams (who I think was underated) I think we will be ok. Im more worried at rb position than anything but lendale has said hes in great shape so who knows we may be suprised..

Re: Titans: Rookie wideouts have chance to play early

to be honest in terms of the RB situation i would like to see LenDale and Henry playing in a tandem role becuase neither one is really a speed runner and realistically thats not what we need with Vince at QB, i would expect to see them playing together on downs, being power runners and catching throws out of the backfield becuase coming out of college that is what those 2 were known for. but im still sceptical about LenDale i mean he made a big thing last season about how he should have gone earlier than the third pick of the second round and was making out like he was some diamond in the round who was just over shadowed by Bush at USC, but in his first season he hasnt really shown much to make me think that he is going to be a franchise RB, atleast not a good one i mean
