Re: Titans not returning to Clarksville

so is the location of the training camp on the top of priorites for training camps every off season? i always like to follow the training camps becuase its a time where there isnt as much pressure for the players and its a nice warm up for the season but the people in Clarksville seem pretty upset that the team isnt going to go their for training camp, i know a lot of teams prefer to use college campuses for training camp so what is the importance of the titans changing it this season? not wanting to move? prefering it at Baptist Park? or simply this may be down to Reindfelt coming in and shaking things up again for no apparent reason. either way what is everyones opinion on the titans staying at Baptist Park as opposed to going to Clarksville?

and correct me if im wrong but isnt Baptist Park the teams regular season training facility?

Re: Titans not returning to Clarksville

STAYING PUT: The Titans have changed their mind about having training camp in Clarksville as they did last year at Austin Peay and will instead have their entire training camp at Baptist Sports Park.

“Last year our experience at Austin Peay was a positive one and their staff went above and beyond to make our stay a success,” chief operating officer Steve Underwood said. “Going away to training camp is something we consider on a yearly basis, and this year Mr. Adams decided to remain at Baptist Sports Park for the entirety of training camp. This decision should not reflect on Austin Peay’s ability to host our team. We feel that staying at our own facility this year is the best direction for our team.”

There you go alex, staying put is the "best direction for our team" Im just confused to what direction were heading..

Re: Titans not returning to Clarksville

see now its comments like that i dont get, we went from a 0-5 start to 8-8 with a relatively make shift team for most of the season, a rookie QB and most players playing in their first season with the team and yet we have one of the best performances ive seen in a while...so what direction do they wanna go in now? i was under the impression we were going up

Re: Titans not returning to Clarksville

Thats too bad they wont be going to austin peay this year. I went to training camp while they were in clarksville last year and it was a great expierence. The players on the field were really close to the fans and i even took a pic of Vince giving a thumbs up with my buddy. The nashville training site is cool, but it doesnt have the closeness clarksville had
