so do you think that Griffin would take over from Pacman was what the team had in mind when they opted to draft Griffin instead of someone else? i mean i think that Pacman is still a valuable member of the team, maybe not so much in terms of as a corner but definatly as a return man

Re: Bad news for Pacman is good news for Griffin

oh yeah i definatly agree with you there titans#1, Pacman has changed despite what people might think, ive seen interviews, read aticles and even seen an interview with Vince Young where he has said that he strongly believes Pacman is a changed man, i think he will come back off his suspension a better player although i wouldnt be suprised to see him reduced to a third string CB and be left as a returner and trick play man e.g. coming in as a decoy on offensive plays or a runner on trick plays

the thing is the youth stratergy would have been good 5 years ago when we were rebuilding the team but i dont think it will benefit a team that has started again with the introduction of Vince Young, it just seems like we took 2 steps forward last season and have taken one step back going into this one

Re: Bad news for Pacman is good news for Griffin

Do you guys think that since pac is appealing his punishment, he will have blown his chance of an early week 10 return?

I think what hes done is no worse than mike vicks situation, All I know is goodell better punish vick just like he did pac, vick has been in just as much trouble now, oh yea and the feds are looking at vick now..how much more attention do you want than that mr. goodell..

yeah but vince you gotta rememeber hes already used his "im gonna show him up infront of everyone and show everyone i mean business" card on Pacman, vick will get a slap on the wrist for what hes done even if what he has done is probably worse than what Pacman has done since in atleast 2 of the police cases he is yet to be tried becuase they havnt got enough evidence yet

but i think if he doesnt get his punishment shortened now i think it will actually work in his favour for week 10 becuase the league will try and show some good spirits and be like "hey we're not such bad guys, we didnt let him come back before but he can come back now cos hes been a good boy" to be honest i think the whole thing is pathetic when you think the punishment is so severe mainly due to Godell wanting to push his weight around

I dont know they have found all kinds of stuff on vicks property, and he does own it therefore is responsible, If vick gets out of this with a slap on the wrist ill be suprised and furious. Vick is more of a nfl star than pac so lets not punish him, thats not being too fair but hey thats just my opinion..
