Should Titans go after Keyshawn???

Just released by Carolina. Reinfeldt said that they would bring in a veteran WR.

He can be a leader when he wants, and his attitude has been real good in Carolina. I say give him a shot. He should be pretty cheap.

Re: Should Titans go after Keyshawn???

i think every team should go after him

and actually i think he could really help develop VY

he may also come fairly cheap since he already got $3 million this year

the bad thing for the Titans is i think if he plays this year he may be looking for a ring like Moss was ....... which could put the Titans 1/2 way down the list

Yeah but Key already has a ring. Givens is gonna be a punk again and the Titans need a veteran guy so bad it is crawling out of their ears.

Keyshawn's attitude really hasn't been a problem in either Dallas or Carolina. He's a good possession receiver, not quite as explosive as he once was, but I think he'd be a good veteran addition for you guys. Hell of a blocking receiver to boot. As long as the Titans have the cap space to sign him, I say go for it.

They should. Reinfeldt has been real stingy this offseason.

Thumbs up Re: Should Titans go after Keyshawn???

They definetly should go after johnson. he's not fast, and he's not gettin any younger, but he bring leadership and expirience to an offense where david givens is the only one to even sniff a ring much less wear one.

since we decided to improve our defense in the first round this year (which by the way was charitable at best) we need a solid target for young until we can solidify that #1 receiver spot.

a pick-up like johnson who is a willing mentor for the young talent we have is just what we need. he doesn't need to put up gawking numbers but he can make the young guys better in the long run.

we'll have to wait till next year to pick up a franchise receiver for young, but untill then keyshawn is a good pick up.

Re: Should Titans go after Keyshawn???

Yeah johnson would be a good pick up. He is a great blocker and could really help VY and the titan's young group of recievers. I dont think cap room would be a problem either.

Re: Should Titans go after Keyshawn???

now i think about it i dont know if Keyshawn would come to the Titans, i think he would wanna spend the last few seasons of his career at a team where he would get catches and not be used as a B plan and a blocking reciever, it would be nice to see him come to the titans becuase he would make a great addition, but i dont know
