well that was a definate shock, comments? i mean i thought we were either going to take a CB or WR but a safety, im watching him now and hes a little off with regards to giving up early but i guess with Chris Hope back there he should be covered well, i think that would see Harper and Scott playing at CB this season as most teams have Scott pinned as a CB rather than a safety, hhhhmmm that was suprising i must say

Really disappointed that we didnt get Meach. we needed the go-to WR & there he was.... and a Tennessee boy to boot!

Anyway... how good does Michael Griffin look? I've not seen any tape on him & I dont think I remember him much from Texas.

he was actually the texas longhorns best defensive player he is a leader and he led the team in tackles two years in a row and he brings alot to the special teams as well he's blocked 8 kicks he had 8 interceptions last year.and his background check is clean according to griffin he's never done drug he doesnt drink and on titansonline.com they showed his interview with the titans and he looks like the only thing he cares about is winning.i like this guy im happy we drafted him.

Yeah he is a great defensive playmaker and seem like a solid dude. The titans took kind of a backward approach in their picks but im happy with how it turned out

one thing I didnt realize was he came to texas as a cb and can play multiple positions, I wouldnt be suprised to see jeff fisher play around with this..

oh yeah without a doubt, i mean in the interview they spoke to him about being a CB even if he is registered as a FS, it should be good cos we have Ryan Smith and also Bryan Scott that can all play mutiple positions so we have a nice mix in the DB sector this season

Micheal Griffin is a great player.


He is an exceptional person, can play any DB spot on the field. Can play special teams. Great leader. Extraordinary hitter.

Ok pick in my mind. Now the pick that is upsetting is the Henry pick.

This tells me that the coaches have all but given up on Lendale.

do you all remember who was making plays on the other side of the ball for Texas when they played USC for the championship? it was the two michael safeties huff and griffin. griffin is a great hitter and a strong cover 2 saftey. hes a a great pick up for the titans because as bad as we need a receiver for vince, our defense was at the bottom of the barrel last year. i mean come on, how long can we afford to keep lamont thompson on the field?
