Pacman Says He's Changed? In an interview with Deion Sanders of NFL Network, Titans cornerback Pacman Jones sounds like a guy who has learned from his mistakes. His many, many mistakes. Faced with a suspension of possibly an entire year for violation of the league's Personal Conduct Policy, Pacman is ready to face the consequences. "Whatever the punishment is, I am going to be a man and I am going to take responsibilities and own up," Jones said. "Hopefully it won't be that long or nothing that could jeopardize my career. "I have put myself in some bad situations as far as picking my places where to go and picking who to take with me, so I take total responsibility for that. But you live and you learn and it if keeps on happening, then you can point the finger and be like, 'Well, he still ain't learning.' . . . Trust me, I have hit the wall." Or bit the cop's hand, as the case my be. And that alleged incident from February 2006 is enough to cause us to conclude that Jones is presently full of crap. Regardless of any bad decisions he made about where to go and who to go there with, Jones never bothered to tell his employer that he had been arrested for felony and misdemeanor obstruction of a police officer. Indeed, the root of his looming suspension is, we believe, the failure of Jones to 'fess up to these charges, which somehow stayed under the radar for more than a year. So the question, as we see it, isn't whether Jones periodically makes bad decisions about going to bad places with bad people. The question is whether he's a bad guy, and the fact that he concealed these arrests from the Titans tells us that this problem goes way deeper than the periodic misadventures of a lonely Saturday night. Because, if he wasn't simply a bad guy, at some point in the 13 months between the arrest and the public disclosure of it Pacman would have given in to that little voice inside of him that was saying, "Pac, you'd better tell Coach Fisher that you were busted." So my question is this, If and when Pacman returns, will he stay out of trouble?

Re: Pacman Says He's Changed? He ain't changed with trouble and even if he is it is unexcusable for hbim to wanna change after away's being in treouble when your making millions of dollars each year that is unexcusable.

| Re: Pacman Says He's Changed? i would hope that having had his name and reputation once again dragged through the mud, having had his multi million dollar contract placed on a very thin piece of string now and possibly the end of his 2 year career looming on the NFL commissionaires decision i would HOPE he has decided he wants to change now, however he has been in this position before only for him to turn around the next day and do the same thing so who knows...he is a good player with the potential to be a great one so i hope he learns from his problems and goes back to being a grownup and playing the game

Re: Pacman Says He's Changed? i think its very humbelling to see that the 3 people that have so far voted for YES have been the Titans fans, so i guess this might show that even though he is the worst kinda guy off the field there may be hope for some sort of forgivness becuase of his abilities on the field? i mean correct me if im wrong

Re: Pacman Says He's Changed? like he said in the interview,he's hit the wall, if you think about it, all the trouble he's done in the past, he's gotten out of with a slap on the wrist, so he just went on to do the same things cause he wasn't punished, but with his whole past on espn and every sports talk radio, his actions are magnified and the nfl is taking notice, I think he understands now that he can't behave that way anymore without losing money and his nfl career, as far as forgiveness goes if and when he comes back he returns a k/p return for a touchdown I think titans fans will be ok with him again..

Re: Pacman Says He's Changed? Welcome to the forum Oakley, I think a lot of players have messd up bad and maybe they werent being made an example of like pac is but I think this is a wakeup call for him, he knows whats at risk, I think he will mature more and make better decisions down the road if he still has an opportunity to do so..
