Re: Veteran RB Dillon to visit Titans

unfortunatly last season we felt the brunt of what Corey Dillion can really do, so would it be better to have him in our offensive backfield this season rather than having him stomping through our defensive backfield like he did last season when we played the Pats? obviously the fact that he is an excellent veteran runner would help with teaching LenDale the ways of the game and with the exception of possibly the Bus, Eddie George and Marshall Faulk i dont think LenDale would have a better teacher from the past decade of football to teach him.

but is Dillions style of power running to similar to LenDale's style of powering running to have them both in the backfield or would Dillion be used as a power runner for short downs and a blocker when Vince wants to go for a run around?

Re: Veteran RB Dillon to visit Titans

This would be a great signing for the Titans, if you ask me. Dillon is aging but I think he still has another good year or two left, and he and a hopefully in-shape White would make a potentially devestating backfield tandem. Price is obviously a question, as Tennessee's front office seems to be taking the frugal approach to free agency this year, but it would definitely benefit the club from having a guy like Dillon in the fold.

I wouldn't be opposed of picking up dillon, though I wish we could get michael turner but thats just wishful thinking, they say he's got a high price tag...

Re: Veteran RB Dillon to visit Titans

I think Dillion has heavy mileage and a few injuires to his name...but he probably has enough for 200 carries 750-800 yards and 7-8 scores...he should be a good quality back for someone...
