ok so here we go we are getting the ball rolling for the draft now, visiting Jarret is a good sign and he is an ex-Trojan so it could work in our favour to bring him to a Norm Chow run offense, but could this just be another situation like last season when all the publicity was around meeting Matt Leinart and having him pictured with Norm Chow etc etc...and then going and taking Vince Young, im not complaining or anything but im just saying could this be for real this time or just to tease us?

also what do you think the likelyhood of us picking up Jarret will be? i mean we hold a pretty high pick so there is obivously a likelyhood that he could go before our pick so do we have a B plan? trade up? look for other recievers?

Welcome to GTG, oakley. Glad to see I'm not the only one here who things Meachem has big-time potential. Good size and speed, might be the second best receiver in the draft behind Johnson. Definitely worth it if they can snag him in Round 2.

well from the sounds of it people are saying we will take Meachem in the first round but is Jarrett 'bad enough' to drop into the second round? and all the way down to our second pick? i mean we got lucky, depending on what your opinion is of him, when we took LenDale White last season but would Jarret 1. slip into our pick in the second round and 2. would we take 2 recievers with our first 2 picks?

Thank you, thats what I've been preaching the past few months, meachem is an awesome wr,I dont know why hes slated lower than some other wr's but hes got great speed and hands...he proved himself at tennessee and at the skills day competition..
