safety-chris hope is a great player and l.thompson is an ok player.
kr/pr-should come from our second rd draft pick,we need to pick a wr/kr/pr in the second round.

see what your saying with your picks but i would say some different things:
RB: L.White- hopefully will show us why he should have gone in the first round last year
WR: 1st pick should be to pick up a WR in my opinion, Jones and Gage should do well and Givens is yet to prove himself
QB; Vince Young...no need to explain anything there
OL: totally agree with you there they did a tremendous job considering most players were out of their normal positions for most of the season and some good young players so promise for the future
TE: betweent Troupe, Hartsock and Cramer we got some good TE's

DL: got some good DE's but might need to get some more DT since we lost Smith
LB: again i agree Bulluck and Thornton are great and Sirmon is just 'ok' dont know how much Fowler will be used this season
CB: hopefully Pacman will play, Harper sounds like a good pick up, apart from that hopefully we will get the odd great game from Hill and Woolfork but Finnegan did well in the Nickle which is promising
S: Hope was excellent, Thompson did ok so just have to wait and see again

KR/PR: if we keep Pacman we are sorted...if not look for, like you said, us to pick up a WR/KR in the draft

Do you guys honestly believe were in good shape. Seriously, you can honestly say were a better team than when we last played? I can't, not yet anyway, I stand behind the titans no matter what, but I think a lot of people are trying to convince themselves saying were in good shape when were not exactly, I hope l. white is as productive as henry if not better. We had the worst defense last year and havent done a whole lot to rectify that. Weve lost our 2 main wr's and have brought in a poor mans drew bennett, however I do think gage will be good, I think hes a sleeper and it will be the best move mikes done since screwing our team up, I understand what he's is trying to do, he wants to play it tight with money, the thing about that is weve been doing that the past 3 seasons cause we havent had any,weve let go of some great players, and even more this last offseason, we better have a good draft thats all I can say..are the titans in good shape? I hope so, I think we deserve a winning season...

i dont think we are in good shape no, but i never said that, what im suggesting is that we have the potential to be a good team next season, we didnt have Drew and Travis carrying us all last season rememeber, Travis in particular had some big games and put up big numbers but his stats most likely would have been overshadowed in terms of rushing yards had Vince started the season so im not scared about doing terrible next year but i dont think all hope is lost no way no how.

your right though we did have the worst defense in the NFL STATISTICALLY, but does that make us the worst team in the NFL? no, i think we were far from it, stats show us nothing, for a large chunk of the season Indi had the worst rushing offense in the league and yet they went on to become Super Bowl champs.

all ill say is that we dont have the team we did last season but i think we have the potential to do well and we could set our sights as high as the the playoffs or even a .500 season or set them as high as just rebuilding for one more year

I think with vince in there anythings possible, I just wish we could've pulled in a really good wr, im not as worried about our rb situation as i am our receivers, for what lack of prod lendale has vince will make up, harper will be a good fill in but I believe pacs better and I really hope he plays cause I think hes as good as devin hester when it comes to p/k returns, we really need a good draft, maybe with all the time they've put in scouting and interviews instead of free agency, it will be worth it...

vincesanity82 you really dont think it was t.henry and bennett who carried the team last year do you?yes they are a big lose but every team had to let someone important to there team go.i have faith in l.white and i really dont think we are in bad shape at the WR position just because bennett left and VY's ability to spread the ball out should keep us in good shape.and all those other teams who signed all the other big name free agents doesnt make them better than us.dont give up on the titans so easy.

I never said I was giving up on the titans, if you read my earlier post I said I stick behind them all the way and I never said bennett and henry carried our team,however, you cant say they didnt have a significant role in our wins, I just dont see us being better after losing our 1 and 2 wr and our 1 rb, plus robaire smith was a significant loss. And not adding someone equal or better in those positions, yes many teams let players go but look who they signed in return, I have faith in lendale too and even if he doesnt put up henry like stats vy will take care of the rest, But I do think we need help in our recieving, we dont know givens status, after that we have jones and gage who will have to step up that have been 3rd or 4th string, I just think we need to make up some in the draft because our free agency wasnt that great when we had more than enough money to spend, like I said before are we still in good shape?
