Re: R.Smith to stay a titan

Smith was 10th on the team with 44 tackles and had 1/2 a sack in 2006. Hate to say it, Titans fans, but I'm not too sure this is cause for celebration. Of course, I didn't catch a lot of Tennessee games last season. Is Smith a good run-stuffer?

Re: R.Smith to stay a titan

i think what was so good about Smith last year was that he came in and people didnt know what to expect, he generally did a good job but in all fairness our D line did nothing to stop the run and in most games, even when we won, we were giving up 200+ yards or something on the ground, i think he will be a good addition to the line but i dont think we have anything to be jumping up and down celebrating about becuase i dont think he was exactly one of those players teams would be giving anything to have on their roster

Re: R.Smith to stay a titan

the titans signed him later on during the season so its not to fair to be comparing stats.

Re: R.Smith to stay a titan

you say that but even though he came in late he went on to become our 10th leading tackler so thats got to be a good thing...or was our defense just really bad last year.......well i guess it could be either of those, either way he will be a good addition

Re: R.Smith to stay a titan

and when you think about it for him to come in and become our tenth leading tackler thats actualy not bad becouse he wasnt on the field much he shared the field with 3 other players such as:jessie mohalonah, tony brown, and albert haynsworth.
