Kevin Curtis to the Titans

ok here is a thought, what would you guys think of bringing in Kevin Curtis to boost up our reciving core? i mean obviously all the talk is about Stalworth because obviously he is the next best reciever in the free agency market but with Curtis dropping down to 4th choice reciever in St Louis and being a free agent now why not pick him up to add some exprience, i mean its not like we can do any worse with the recievers we have right?

Re: Kevin Curtis to the Titans

I read Curtis will meet with the Eagles after his visit with the Giants is over. He still doesn't have an agent though.

I don't know if it's too late for Tennessee to get involved.

Re: Kevin Curtis to the Titans

i think we should sign k.curtis for his expierence, but i was thinking about our recievers from last year.we had brandon jones who played well and bennett who had a couple of good games.we did just fine with those WR's, but just becouse bennett is gone now dosnt mean we need to panic.we still have our draft pick,we still have david givens who is solid player, our real situation is our D.WR's cant play defense what we should be worried about is signing an exprienced defensive player.

Some people I have talked to think he is as good as bennett if not better, I wouldn't mind picking him up...

Re: Kevin Curtis to the Titans

who knows? at the same time i guess we can ask why did we release Bennett instead of keeping hold of him and bringing in the 'better' Curtis to play along side him? football is a funny game sometimes

I have no clue, but I do know this, Drew bennett being #1 wr caught 737 yds last season, Kevin curtis #3 wr behind holt and bruce caught 479 yds. thats not bad. and in 2005 curtis caught 801 yds. to bennetts 738 yds. For whatever reason the rams liked bennett better, but I think curtis is just as solid and perhaps better hands. I would like to see what curtis can do being #1 or 2 wr...

I like the kid, but I do not see him in the same class as Bennett...I remember how Bennett blew up a few years back and had some monster games...I don't see Curtis in the same zip code.

Re: Kevin Curtis to the Titans

well i took a shot in the dark thinking that we might try and bring Kevin Curtis to tennessee but from the looks of it there might be a chance of that happening as he is visiting the titans organsation today, so do you guys think there is a chance we can sway him away from any of the other teams interested in him or is this just going to be another situation where we loose out on a free agent becuase the BIG SHOTS dont wanna part with the bundles of cash we have lying around?
