Re: Latest moves and myths for Free Agency

so from the sounds of it Chris Brown would like to stay in Tennessee although he is looking elsewhere, i would probably think that if anyone is going to pick him up out of the 3 teams he is looking at it will be Green Bay, but who knows? does he want to leave or is this just him trying to get the Titans to pay out more money by showing he might be wanted else where? either way im not going to pay attention to Reinfeldts comments on the matter as i simply dont care what he says anymore.

in other news it would see as thought Corey Dillons agent is interested in talking to the Titans, who have SUPRSINGLY not made a move to sign him, so would Dillon be a good pick up for the Titans? i would think that ever without his speed he will make a great extra blocker for Vince to run and pass behind

Well Alex I dont think chris brown is the anwser, if he was then he would've played more last year instead of being 3rd string, anyways all season he was complaining about his contract or his agent was, I was actually opposed to the corey dillon prospect but after looking at his stats in 2004 he had close to 1700 yards, last season he had 812 yards and thats with lawrence mauroney taking a lot of the snaps. So I wouldnt mind picking him up. I'm gonna trust in lendale and maybe he can carry us like henry did, either way though I think competition is good for lendale to fight harder for the #1 spot. I'm gonna give reinfeldt the benefit of the doubt until after the draft, maybe he does have some deals in the works, I still would like to see us pick up stallworth, I'also think he may have a plan in the draft to pay a team for a higher bid, maybe to get peterson, I would still like to see us draft meachem though. Why would he come in and unload all of vinces weapons if he didnt have a plan? Well im gonna make myself believe in that for the time being and hope things turn around..I really do hate to see bobby wade go, he was a good reciever who could also return punts...that could've came in handy if pacman cant play this season...

Re: Latest moves and myths for Free Agency

no way do i think Chris Brown is the answer either but to be honest with the way Henry played last season he has set a pretty high level to compete with and i dont think Brown, White or even Dillon can come close to doing what he did last season so maybe we should be looking to the draft or else where. with regards to Dillion though i would bring him in as a power RB becuase i dont think he has the break neck speed he once did and bring him in as a pass blocking RB that way it frees up Vince to throw to...well at the rate we are going it might as well be me and you since Reinfeldt is getting rid of more recievers than he is bringing in. i just hope that Vince is running the ball more i.e. switching the offense to a Atlanta/Vick style where his throws either go to a TE or he runs the option plays becuase i think Vince is definatly capable of running an offense like a vet right now.

looking at Reinfeldt i HOPE he makes up for all his mistakes in the draft and before the season starts becuase to be honest he has gone past the point of making his impression and "lets see how he goes", now he is at the point where its "ok now what are you going to do?" i just think he has messed up a lot so far and he really needs to make up for it well and very quickly or we could be looking at another few more 'transition seasons'

Re: Latest moves and myths for Free Agency

I just keep hoping there is a master plan that will make us say "Oh ok I understand now" because right now you and I are not the only ones who are discouraged with all the moves he's made. The city of nashville is puzzled as well as most titan fans. Hopefully we can sign stallworth and he had a good visit today. Jamar Fletcher also visited today and 2 more unknown players will visit thursday so atleast they seem like they're trying to make some deals. Also just found out joe horn signed with the falcons...
