| Re: Chris Brown to Titans? i've been traveling alot & not been able to keep up as much as I wanted. Was the Travis Henry release becasue of a big salary cap hit or something else? Sure seemed like we should have made sure to keep him.

| Re: Great News... Chris Brown to Titans? Our brilliant new gm: "I think we wanted Travis back and there was a value we thought it was, and we probably went beyond that. Unfortunately it didn't work out,'' Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt said. "I was kind of surprised by (the money he got), but I think you have 32 different teams and everyone looks at the world differently. And we just thought that $12 million guaranteed was not appropriate in this particular case.'' Travis Henry: "Floyd was always my guy,'' Henry said. "He's the reason I was there. I don't want to speak for Reinfeldt, but Floyd wouldn't have let me go." Henry sad to leave but glad with deal - Nashville, Tennessee - Tuesday, 03/06/07 - Tennessean.com |
