'Voice of the Titans,' 13 others, to join BGA Hall of Fame

FRANKLIN — “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith, Middle Tennessee builder Reese Smith, and the late Lt. Col. Michael Mott, who managed Boeing’s NASA division, are among 10 alumni and 3 present or former faculty members to be inducted into the Battle Ground Academy Hall of Fame on June 9.

“The inductees were selected based on their professional accomplishments as well as demonstrated leadership within the community,” said Dr. Bill Mott, BGA president, in a press release announcing the selections. “They exemplify the dedication to excellence instilled by a BGA education. We are proud to call them BGA alumni.”

1986 graduate Mike Keith is the director of broadcasting for the Tennessee Titans, received the Edward R. Murrow Award for nationwide excellence in sports reporting in 1997 and has been named Tennessee Sportscaster of the Year four times.
