Post Pacman's Titans future in jeopardy

Adam "Pacman" Jones, entangled in a triple shooting at a Las Vegas strip club, might not be on the Tennessee Titans' roster next season. Mike Reinfeldt, the team's new general manager, was asked at the NFL Combine about Jones' status after reports of the cornerback's involvement in the mayhem. He replied: "I would assume there is that potential." The Titans have declined to comment on Monday's...

Re: Pacman's Titans future in jeopardy

so what do we do now? ok Pacman has been in a hell of a lot of problems since joining the Titans, i mean he was causing issues before we even signed him becuase of his contract but do we really need to get rid of him? yeah hes causing all these off field problems but that isnt effecting his on the field performance right? if it did i would be the first to say get rid of him, but he is starting to become a good player so is there any need to shoot ourselves in the foot by getting rid a potentially very excellent cornerback and return man, just becuase hes causing some off the field problems?

lol, typical response from a sports fan. As long as the team is better with the player, no matter what kind of person he is off the field, it's fine. Terrell Owens (although his off the field issues were nowhere near as serious) fits into the mold as well, it's just he's been exposed to more fanbases now.

If a young star player on any of my teams was involved in all the crap Jones has been throughout his football life, I wouldn't look twice if the team cut him.

well yeah i am looking at it from a football fans point of view becuase i figure as long as he isnt hurting the team i.e. the team isnt getting punished for his stupid acts by getting fines or anything like that then he can get into what ever he wants to do off the field, as soon as he puts on that Titans jeresy then thats when i judge what he does and how he acts
