Ya! we got chris hope from the steelers! this is probably our biggest move yet because A) hes 25 B) hes going to majorly boost our secondary and C) last time i checked he started for the super bowl champion steelers i could be wrong on that one though. But ya hope is definetly our greatest pickup yet and with a 6 year deal hes only gonna get better!

He's a 4 year vet with the Steelers & started every game last year. SuperBowl rings in the Titans locker room... that's a good thing.

What other moves do you think the titans have a chance of making? I think we've covered all of our needs so far (LB, C, S, WR). Maybe a veteran corner so pacman and reynaldo can mature? If we could get someone like a Charles Woodson for a cheap price, you think we should go after him?

The Titans are definitely starting to dip into that free agency pool. It doesn't seem like any of its signings have been a poor choice. They're building up a team, but it'll still be interesting to see how they fair in a division with Indy and Jax.

• We knew cap-rich Cleveland and Minnesota were going to attack free agency with a vengeance and that Washington always does. But it's hard not to be impressed with Tennessee's first-week effort. The Titans definitely overspent for a guy who has yet to prove he's a No. 1 receiver, but David Givens was a nice pickup, and I could say the same for safety Chris Hope, linebacker David Thornton and veteran center Kevin Mawae. Seems to me that the worst of the medicine-taking is over in Tennessee- Don Banks, Si.com Alright hopefully hes right and we can starting movin in the right direction

Hey guys im a vikings fan and we just of course signed Tank Williams, was Chris Hope really an upgrade over him. Also what are the reasons he tested free agency, did he like Tennessee or did he just want out.

well williams is good and i was huge fan of him but hope might be a slight upgrade over him; he does have super bowl experience. and as for him wanting out, i think his asking price was too much for the titans but that is just a guess im not too sure
