so what do you guys think of this whole situation, i mean there seems to be different stories everyday, Pacman was involved, he wasnt, he caused it, he didnt, he knew the guy, he didnt...so will we ever find out the truth or is this doomed to be another major story involving and NFL player that the truth never comes out on? and do you think that Pacman has turned a corner since last season or is this just him going back to his old ways again?

a new day and more developments in the latest Pacman case, now it seems that the reason behind the attack was becuase Pacman was 'showering strippers with dollar bills' to which the strippers 'manager' later picked up and walked out of the club with sparking the events of the shooting...

More than $81,000 in cash belonging to Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones was seized by police, who say the money sparked a weekend melee and a triple shooting at a strip club. Jones was showering more than 40 strippers onstage early Monday with cash "intended as a visual effect," a search warrant said.

I heard on the radio an older relative of the bouncer that was shot and witnesses seem to back up his story. This is all alledged right now, as it is still under investiagtion, so take it for what it is worth:

Pacman wasn't the shooter, but he was sitting next to the man the whole night. They were hanging out around the club, when Pacman slammed a strippers head onto the stage, then hit her again with his fists. Naturally, the bouncer confronted him rather quickly and seven witnesses spot Pacman shouting in the bouncer's face, "You'll be dead by the end of tonight," before leaving the club. The car pulled up later that night, shooting the bouncer and two others.

Seriously, if this is true, I don't care about the NFL sending a message. I want the judicial system to send him a message, loud and clear. Throw him in jail, where he ought to be, and let him think about what he has done as his playing days pass him by. No bond, no chance of parole, nothing. These athletes think they're invincible nowadays.

Chris Henry and Pacman Jones were partners in crime, literally, at West Virginia. This stuff is nothing new. Give him a life of luxury and privilege in the NFL, and he still finds a way to mess it up.

pacman jones is a great but stupid player.you wont to like him but hes always getting in trouble.if they send him to jail for at least a couple of months he mihgt learn his lesson.

I haven't heard it mentioned in some time, but don't players usually have a morality clause in their contracts. If they get caught up in scandals such as this, they start to lose money. Maybe the league needs to step in and set guidelines of what they expect of their players. I have had several jobs in the past that needed a clean cut image to work there

i dont know where we can go with Pacman to be honest, he is a good player with the potential to be a great one but if he keeps getting into trouble the league or authorities could step in and give him a jail sentence or something and that would stop him coming on to the field whic could in effect ruin his chances of becoming good. we thought there was some potential last year when he came back after his suspension and player excellent towards the end of the season and he was doing well thus far...but how good could he be doing if hes splashing out $81,000 on strippers and then supposedly assulting one of them? so what do we do? what would you guys do if you were Jeff Fisher or the NFL or the authorities or you had a 'reasonable' solution to dealing with Pacman?

In another addition to the story, the NY Daily News had a backpage lead with one of the victims of the shooting. A manager of the club was shot and paralyzed and fighting for his life. He just happened to be a former pro wrestler (not a name but did reach the WWF at one point).

Here's a couple of excerpts:

Jones, 23, has denied any involvement in the shooting and says he doesn't know who opened fire that night. But Minxx co-owner Robert Susnar says surveillance videos show the gunman, who is still at large, was a member of Jones' party that night.

"He came in with him, he was talking to him, he was drinking with him," Susnar says. "Without a doubt he knew the guy. And now the spoiled little s--- is hiding behind high-level attorneys and claiming he wasn't involved."

"Is it a coincidence that my son was shot 10 minutes after Jones threatened to kill the bouncer?" asks Donald Urbanski, Tommy's father.

"I want the shooter put away," Donald Urbanski says. "I want Crapman — that's what I call Jones — to stand up and admit the shooter was part of his posse."

i think thats going a bit over the top trying to make out that Jones sent out some sort of 'mob hit' on one of the bouncers, i mean the guy is stupid but i dont think he is stupid enough to get one of his 'crew' to kill someone, yeah i believe he knew the guy, i believe he got into an argument with him, i believe he splashed his cash around and i believe he knew the shooter, but i dont think he sent out a hit on this guy no way, like i said Pacman has done a lot in the last few years but i dont think he would do that

Why do you put it past him? Pacman Jones bragged about being a gangster at West Virginia, if I recall correctly. Several witnesses spot him as shouting in the bouncer's face, "You'll be dead by the end of tonight."
