Tennessee Titans Rumors

If reports in the Nashville Tennessean and the Seattle Times are to be believed, the Tennessee Titans might not be done adding free agents to their roster just yet.

According to the Tennessean: "The Titans also remain in the hunt for Steelers safety Chris Hope, who visited Miami yesterday and is scheduled to visit San Francisco later in the week before making a decision... Also, the Titans yesterday entertained former Giants linebacker Nick Greisen and former Seattle linebacker Kevin Bentley and could sign them as well."

And according to the Times: "Seahawks free-agent LB Kevin Bentley made a visit to the Tennessee Titans and later left to meet with the Cincinnati Bengals."

With the offseason they've had so far, the Titans could really establish themselves a threat is they can sign Hope, Greisen and/or Bentley to strengthen their defense. Think they'll be able to actually acquire any or all of them?

Re: Tennessee Titans Rumors

man, this is just crazy. If we get some more of these titans rumors to come true, we just might have a playoff contender in Nashville this year.

C'mon Titans, pick up a few more!

The organization is definitely trying to build up a team for the 2006 season. Maybe McNair will come back and play up to par and give the team a chance to contend. Of course, the Titans might need a running back. *COUGH* Jerome Harrison of WSU *COUGH*...

Re: Tennessee Titans Rumors

Travis Henry's a good enough back. They just need to get him a line, and Mawae's a good start.

Free agent plans...

Here is what we need to do...
1. Let D. Bennett go, and sign free agent Donte Stallworth
2. Sign C. Hope and Griesen of the giants for help
3. Make a lower move with T. Henry or C. Brown to draft M. Bush in the mid 2nd.... to seal backs
4. take the olb out of ole' miss in the first...
5. and were set to begin our push which may take a few years....

Re: Tennessee Titans Rumors

Have you guys watched the last couple of seasons? Titans dont need to get another running back. I agree with the the guy who said Chris Henry will do fine, he runs the 40 in the same time as Adrien Peterson, the good AP(vikings). Yes we need one more Line Backer to go with keith bullick and tullick. Titans are hurting for a great wideout. Yes we've been drafting them for years, but they haven't payed off. Now with troupe, hartsock and scafe all being free agents titans will look to Alge Crumpler for his crushing blocking and his unusually fast feet for a fat TE to stretch Line Backers out. O yea and if you haven't seen PACMan has been given the goahead to seek a trade. This is great news, they wont get much for him but he was a wasted pick and we may be able to get a good draft pick for him.
