Heh... yeah, I'd almost forgotten about the controversy over Young's Wonderlic scores. I bet there are a lot of Titans fans grateful that he scored so badly. The guy may not have scored well on the IQ test, but he sure showed that he had football smarts as the season progressed.

Re: Why Young Was Passed Up By The Texans

ive never understood how players are dropped over the littlest factors, i mean Young dropped a few places becuase he didnt get some questions right i rememeber reading about how Donovan McNabb was going to drop places just because his hands were small? i mean there is so much emphasis placed on minor factors, hand size, combine results, scout reports and test results, but i thought football was about playing football and if you are a player of Young's ability shouldnt his playing ability speak for itself.

i always figured the combine and tests and things like that were only used for players who werent very well recognised and needed to be put onto a big stage to show people what they can do, i just dont agree with Vince dropping spots because he failed a test, but im not complaining, i dont care if hes the dumbest human being in the world, if he plays like he did this season then what do we have to complaing about right

Re: Why Young Was Passed Up By The Texans

Mario williams is good and showed he has talent this last season, but no way i would've picked him up with number 1 pick, I guess the texans thinking was hey we got david car but in reality carr is an average qb. I actually didnt think we would get VY but we did and everyone else is kicking themselves for not picking him. one thing you can say tennessee has been good picking at the draft, look at pacman he tore it up this last season. The future is def brighter in nashvegas...
