End Of Season Report Card

QB
V.Young - A, excellent rookie season and one of the most promising NFL prospects in years as shown by his Rookie Of The Year Award
K.Collins - C, should quit the NFL and share a room at the retirement home with Vinny Testeverdy

RB
T.Henry - A, had a hell of a season and was dissapointed not to see him get Comeback Player of the Season
L.White - C, didnt show us to much to get excited about but minor injuries kept him from showing his full potential, 2007 may be his season to shine
C.Brown- C, didnt play much but showed great maturity after being dropped to 3rd string and during the Bills game to pick up big yards on plays

FB
A.Hall - B, had a good first season, came up with some big catches and a good run and pass blocker

WR
D.Bennett - B, the teams leading recievers. made big plays but seemed to crumble under the pressure of being the only vetran reciever and dropped a few to many catches
B.Wade - C/B, was pretty quiet but came up with big catches especially towards the end of the season
B.Jones - B, little playing time, but came in a made up for it on big catches, big plays and big TD's when it mattered, reliable 3rd/4th reciever
D.Givens - C/D, didnt show to much to get excited about and then was put on injury reserve, hopefully if he stays healthy he will be a good target for Vince

TE
B.Troupe - B/C, didnt play as well as he did last season but came up with the plays when called upon, dissapointed that he got injured
B.Scaife - B, had a hell of a season, big plays, big catches, big TD's, definate promise for the future
B.Hartsock - C, came in and filled the TE job well after injuries to Troupe, Scaife and Kinney

O Line
the makeshift line of Roos, Bell, Mawae, Olson and Stewart did very well, especially adapting to different positions and a new QB, most players in their first few years such as Roos, Bell and Stewart showed promise and maturity and Olson and Mawae led the line well as the only 2 veterans overall grade, B/A

coming next...the Defensive report card

That is very generous for Collins. He hasn't been above C. Ever.
Trade Brown. He's a front-running crybaby. Better off with out him.
Now, MY MAN Travis Henry is hungry and demonstrated he wants to play and wants the ball.

Re: End Of Season Report Card

well Collins gets the C becuase i think C is where all teachers start from when they grade you and you can either go down or up, he didnt do badly enough to go down but no way good enough to go up.

i think the issue with Brown is that he is a reliable 3rd string RB and with LenDale White as second string he can learn from Henry and Brown, but then you have to start thinking do you want to be paying a guy who is on a starters salary but who is a thrid stringer? but i like his attitude to being dropped i mean he could have gone the way of Billy Volek HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! who threw a girly fit and said he wanted to be traded and has now taken a total of 5 snaps since being at the Chargers who have a QB for the future in Phillip Rivers. he came into the few games he had to play and did well for us, so unless he is willing to take a pay cut i dont think its financially right to keep him

Come on now...they got him last minute...not muh pre-season etc...I am not a Collins fan but he did okay in New York and Carolina...I have seen worse....a C is not all that generous...especially if you are grading a rookie like Young as high as an A...the kid has a lot to learn and he did take some lumps...
