Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow could interview for the head coaching position with the Arizona Cardinals as early as this weekend.


The Titans on Monday granted the Cardinals permission to talk to Chow, who just finished his second season with Tennessee.

Last week the Titans exercised the one-year option on Chow's contract, although it won't prohibit him from interviewing for a head coaching job.

"I am honored to be considered, but as far as the interview process nothing has been finalized," Chow said. "I am real happy with Jeff (Fisher) and Mr. (Bud) Adams and real happy that we have an extension here as well."

i think Chow would be a great fit for the Cards

though i bet the Titans would be sad to see him go

i bet he is a big reason for Youngs success

I too think Chow would be a great choice for HC of the Cardinals. If nothing else, it'd be nice to get some fresh blood in the NFL head coaching community.

there are only 2 things i can see that would sway Chow to being HC for the Cards 1. being that he would go back to being a head coach instead of an offensive coordinator and 2. he would be reunited with Matt Leinart

however i think there is more of a chance people will recognise his accomplishments with Young than with Leinart, yes he helped him to become a Heisman winner but i think that Young has the potential to be an NFL great, plus the Titans are on the up, the Cards still have a few more years before they are going places and it might be to much for someone to take over a team like that and have to work for years to improve the WHOLE team, i mean that was the arguement with firing coach fisher, people wanted him gone but it would have just crippled the team even more by bringing in a new guy
