Tennessee coach Jeff Fisher sounded like a broken record most of this season.

His young Titans liked each other and loved working hard. He enjoyed coaching them and, yes, he thought they could surprise people. After an 0-5 start, Fisher sounded like an optimist trying to hide his team's flaws.
Turns out he was right.
After a six-game winning streak, the Titans are 8-7 and the NFL's second-hottest team behind San Diego. Make the playoffs, and they'll become the first team to do so after an 0-5 start.

So how much of the success should be credited to Fisher?

i think that in situations like this a coach can be easily forgotten if the team is pulling off wins like we have been doing, i mean we have to remember that it was partly Fishers decision to pass up other players and take Vince Young who everyone said had many faults, he was the one who shifted players around after the salary cap problems and multiple injuries this season, so in actuality its Coach Fisher who is the heart and brain of this team, everyone else is the arms, legs and hands, he controls everything and everyone else is moving to what he says.

im not trying to take anything away from the players becuase they are playing incredibly well but i think that Coach Fisher deserves a lot of credit to, he is without doubt one of the top 5 coaches in the NFL at the moment and he is never given the recognition he deserves because he hasnt won a super bowl yet, but what he has done with these players this season is amazing and i think this season in particular is really going to cement his decision to stay and it better be a good reason for the big guys to make him stay as well, becuase he never gave up on us and i wont give up on him unlike those so called 'fans' who said he should be fired after the 0-5 start and even created the 'Fire Coach Fisher' website, those people arent fans, the are glory hunters, people who are fans when there is something to be proud of and will look to blame anyone and everyone they can when things are going bad
