Alex's Post Game Analysis vs Jags

"defense wins game..."
"the best form of offense is a good defense..."

truer words have never been uttered and those two phrases dont do justice to THE INCREDIBLE game i have just witnesses before my very eyes! i once again start with my congratulations but i dont know where to begin...how about the ENTIRE DEFENSE from the players to the backups to the coaching staff to the towel boys who kept the players dry and the water boys who kept them refreshed, i mean it was just an amazing performance, everyone did their part.

the D line did exactly what i and a lot of other people said which was contain Garrad, yes most of his completions came when he was scrambelling but we never let him feel confortable and thats a good thing. the linebackers clogged up the holes to eliminate big gains, yes there were a few but in comparrison to last week against the colts they did incredibly well against a very good runner in Jones Drew, Keith Bulluck had a captains performance really leading both his team and his defense like a true captain should, and the secondary was just WOW..Hope came up with some big tips and his pick return, HIll had some good plays and of course his game ending pick, the ever reliable and generally quiet Thompson had some great stops as the last man and of course Pacman jones.

this guy deserves his own paragraph because from the start he had an amazing game, first off he began how he meant to go on with the pick return, then had some good gains on punt returns, some huge hits on defense and that incredibly amazing play against matt jones in the endzone on 4th and goal. he just had an amazing game, i admit at the beginning of the season i didnt like him but he has won me over and all i can say is thank you pacman! i think since his return from suspension he has shown us what kind of a player he can be, he has shown maturity and signs that he will become a GREAT football player and I HOPE a great titan for many years to come

Alex's Awards For The Game
Game MVP: you know im giving this one to Jim Shwartz our defensive coordinator because since we have been winning he has been generally overlooked for his excellent performance
Offensive MVP: erm...i guess Bobby Wade for his 48 yards
Defensive MVP: i dont have ONE becuase i think every single player on defense deserves that award
Special Teams MVP: erm...i dunno we didnt have much special teams action ha ha
Leave Him Out Of The Game: oddly enough in a turn of fate im gonna say Vince Young because i think in the last few minutes he made some ridiculous desisions that could have cost us the game, i mean the most productive thing i saw him do was pump up the crowd and lets face it if we had left him out would it have made a difference anyway ha ha

Team Rating: A++ for our defense and a C for our offense, only because they didnt cause to many turnovers
Opponent Rating: C, they started well but i dont think they gave much to the game although i can see why people like Jones Drew so much, hes going to be something special
Coach Rating: A+++ for defense and i guess a B for offense

i end this thread with a quote by Denzel Washington in the movie 'Rememeber the Titans'

"i greek mythology the Titans were greater even than the Gods, they ruled their universe with absolute power, that field out their is our universe, lets rule it like Titans"

Re: Alex's Post Game Analysis vs Jags

I really don't know how they did not run away with the game. it really was weird watching the game and seeing the score board, it was mind boggling.
