NASHVILLE - When Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones was formally booked last month on charges stemming from a spitting incident, his attorney asked for a quick court date. At the time, he was optimistic things could be resolved quickly.
But on Tuesday, a General Sessions judge continued the case until Feb. 1, 2007, in large part because the female Tennessee State student Jones is accused of spitting on has recently hired a private attorney.
