Welcome to GoTeamsGo, toomanybeerz. Why do you think Tennessee can pull off the upset?

you have clearly miss understood my point totally, when i said we were lucky i meant that because teams have been underestimating our ability to run the ball not that we are a bad team and have been lucky to get big runs. you dont have to be sitting on the half way line at every titans game to know that we have run the ball excellently this year

but i dont agree that if Pacman doesnt make the catches we loose because he has only got 3 picks this year and 2 were in last weeks game, we won 3 more games when he didnt have a picks and what about Lamont Thompson and Chris hope? they have 3 picks this year as well, does that mean they dont have to make the catches and we can still win?

and i dont think we need Vinces arm to necessearlly win games, your first argument was that our run defense is great which it is, so it can be aruged we can rely on that just as much as Vince's arm right? i mean Travis Henry was getting big , 100 yards rushing games when Vince was struggeling to get into triple figures for passing yards, im not putting vince down im just saying we dont need to rely souly on his arm to win games

AND ALSO we are a team right? vince cant get on the field if the D line doesnt pick up sacks and the LB and DB dont swap away passes and at the same time Vince cant make the throws unless his recievers get open and his line blocks for him right? i mean you look at the Eagles game, Vince completed 8 passes, had 1 TD, Pacman had 0 picks and yet Keith Bulluck (off a lateral from Tony Brown) had a TD. same with the Texans game, we won even thought Vince had 7 completed passes, 87 yards in the air, but Tony Brown had a fumble recovery TD

I apologize for being a little unclear...but I was refering to the Giants game in which the Titans came back to win...if pac didnt make the 2 INTS or Vince make the 2 TD throws and Run...or if the defense didn't make the 5 three n' outs on the giants offense...any way you look at it...they are taking advantage..and beginning to believe they can win...and they haven't felt that way in a while
But I would agree with you to a point that Tennessee has had thier share of breaks this season...many teams have overlooked them as an inadequate team...but Fisher has done such a terrific job this season bringing this team back to believing that they can really beat anybody they play against and as a result they are playing together, as you put it so very well, "A TEAM" I totally agree the entire team has improved and changed thier philosophy about how they play the game...and thats a credit to Jeff Fisher...GO JEFF!!!
the point I want to make is to the Titans fans out thier...just because we are playing the colts dont write off the Titans soo fast...They will play thier hearts out!! and theses two teams will duke it out this Sunday and will be a lot close than some make think....
Titans 27
Colts 24

One thing you can count on...is that the Titans do, and will play hard for Jeff Fisher....till the very last sec. I hear the rumors just like everyone else.
I am Con-Vince-d

Re: Titans vs. Colts

Well, it was looking like it would be a rout by the Colts. Indy went up 14-0. But Titans have pulled back into the game partly due to 2 Peyton Manning interceptions.

We're now 14-10 in the 3rd quarter.

Re: Titans vs. Colts

erm...words...not being able...to come out of mouth...is that score correct? i was on the phone when the field goal happened and i honestly thought we were gonna try the fourth down and obviously not get it, i didnt honestly believe we were gonna get a 60yards field goal...erm...wow...good jobs guys *insert scene of me walking off into the distance shaking me head and muttering to myself in confusion*

Re: Titans vs. Colts

welp, what can i say, i knew we had a chance. i didn't expect 2 INT's on payton....but we did it. Pacman going off the feild on a cart, then comming back to return kickoff's , punt returns, and play offense...amazing.
thats 3 straight wins, now we need that 4th str8

Re: Titans vs. Colts

I tell ya, the goal line stand that held the Colts to a field goal was awesome. I honestly didn't think our guys could keep them out of the endzone.

And how about Fisher getting Dungy to burn his last timeout before the kick?

Even if we had lost, that was going to be enough to make me say Jeff knows a thing or 2 about coaching!
