Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

Tennessee's two-game winning streak came crashing to a halt on Sunday as the Titans were manhandled by Jacksonville, 37-7. Vince Young completed under 42% of his passes and threw 3 picks in the loss. Meanwhile, former Tennessee QB and current Ravens signalcaller Steve McNair threw for 245 yards on 68% passing as Baltimore improved to 6-2 with a win over Cincinnati. So how do you guys like the Titans chances to rebound against their former quarterback this Sunday?

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

to be honest with the way the Titans have been playing anything is possible, we could have an excellent game and blow the ravens out, at the same time we could lay down and die and let them walk all over us. i think McNair is gonna be pumped up for the game so he can show us "what we lost out on" and hopefully that will result in him throwing the ball a lot more and hopefully that would mean that Pacman (fresh off his spanking) will play like he did against the Texans and come up with a pick of 2, same goes for Chris Hope. i think the line will have a good game because they know the way McNair moves and acts.

in the offensive side of the ball its always a case of which offense will turn up? will it be the offense that played against the Texans and the Redskins that got 150+ yards rushing combined, VY having a good game and the line holding its own...or the offense that was totally non existant against the Jags.

i think it depends on how the team approach the game and how McNair plays that gonna decide the game, of course the 2 games we did win we have up 300+ yards on offense but that doesnt show a lot since we ended up winning...i guess its just gonna be luck of the draw and being a Titan fan i guess we should have "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY" stitched to our jerseys ha ha

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

It's not miserable but it is a cold windy day in Nashville for the Titans Ravens game. I'm not holding out much hope for a win today. Our only chance is if the Ravens beat themselves & our special teams really step up with some fluke plays.

I don't like like it but my pick is:

Titans 16
Ravens 27

What's the latest on Reed and Ray Ray? Tennessee has a shot if those two miss the game.

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

i wonder how long its going to be before the Ravens score a TD to do the same as Indi did to us ealier this year...we hold them out all game and are beating them going into the third quater, we think we are home free, and then they get just one TD and win by one point

Guess is wasn't meant to be... Baltimore wins the game, 27-26, on what else but a Steve McNair to Derrick Mason touchdown pass. McNair throws for 373 yards and 3 TDs on the day, while Travis Henry goes for 100 yards and a score. Tough loss for you guys.

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

you know what this season is turning into a f**king joke, i apologise for the language but how else do you explain it? we are beating 2 of the best teams in the NFL going into the fourth quater and we loose...tonights game what the hell was that about? we make it into field goal range with 30 seconds left and the field goal is blocked? i mean come on what the hell! i dont rememeber the last time we had a punt or field goal blocked and out lame ass special teams unit not only fumble a punt but have a field goal blocked. there was 30 seconds to go and all the line had to do was stop the other players from getting to the ball and they couldnt even do that, how poor could those played be that they couldnt do that

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

I got sucked in, thought we were going to take the lead on the field goal & make McNair win it on a 30 second drive.

That's the finsh we should have seen...

Ugh. Do we need to draft a super star at every freaking position before we actually start winning a few of these close games?

i thought the same thing, i mean McNair is good and has made some fourth quater comebacks this season but i thought we could have held out with 30seconds to go to win it but no, it would have been much better to allow their special team to stand infront of our kicker to block the field goal instead

and yeah your probably right rmjvol who do we draft with our likely top 5 pick a WR? a lineman? a CB? and now a kicker most likely because i dont think Rob Bironas is playing well like a kicker for the future

Re: Tennessee Titans vs. Baltimore Ravens

I did a little searching, and found this site. 48 of my friends came down from Baltimore, and we rented a sky suite for yesterday's game. Folks I gotta tell you....first of all, Nashville is the best city I have visited for an away game.....you guys down there are the nicest people I've ever met. The fans were very respective of us "out of towners". There was some good natured ribbing, and trash talking back and forth, but in the end, everyone shook hands, and realized it's all just a game. Keep your heads up, you have the best rookie quarterback in the league, and you aren't that far away from turning it around, and really making some noise in the league. I wish we could play down there every year. Thanks for a great weekend, and I look forward to my next visit to Music City!!
