Yes, they're the worst statistically in terms of yardage (Tennessee allows 372.3 ypg), but are they the NFL's worst D? No, I don't think so. As Coach Fisher says in this article, "We don't have necessarily the talent level to carry a balanced defensive plan in and so, given the opportunity over the last several weeks, we elected to spend more attention to not giving up the big plays then we did to the run game." Plus, the Titans are +8 in turnover differential. How bad could they be?

at the end of the day you can make stats on anything but it doesnt make them show the truth...examples...for the first few weeks fo the season the Colts were the worst run defense in the league yet they are still 7-0 to this day. and in terms of the Titans over the past two games since we have won we have gone from the worst team in the NFL in terms of turn overs to 20th in the league, over a space of two games, thats just 2 hours of football AND ALSO we currently own a 2-5 record with the worst defense in the league, Oakland has the best turn over defense in the league and have the same record as us Miami, Detroit and Arizona have worst records yet are considered better defenses, they say the stats dont lie and there is some truth in that becuase STATISTICALLY we are the worst, but in terms of being a bad defense...nah i dont think thats true
