Kinney underwent a second knee operation after re-injuring his knee in training camp. He had a setback last week because of inflammation in the joint."

i cant see Kinney's absense being a major issue this year, i mean the Kinney/Troupe combo really helped us out last season when we desperatly needed some players to step up in the recievers core when our runing game wasnt working, but i think with the RB's we have now, the young good recieevrs we have, VY under centre and Bo Scaife and Ben Troupe at TE i think Kinney may start to become fased out for the next generation to come through

Tough break for Kinney, being out for the rest of the season.

But like alex said, Troupe and Scaife should be able to pick up the receiving and blocking duties. It should be a nice situation for Young and Troupe especially to develop a relationship during games.
