Excuse me but I must have missed this since it took place earlier in the week. But Adam Jones told the media...

"We just need some heart," cornerback Pacman Jones said. "Excuse my French, but we need some thugs to go out there and get it. We have too many nice guys."

What the hell is he thinking? This is coming from the same guy who has been in trouble with the law countless times in recent years. The same guy who pissed off his teammates by coming to camp in his rookie year late and then talking some trash.

In his defense (I can't believe I'm doing this), in his own eloquent way, I think what he was "trying" to say, is that his team needs to man up, so to speak. Unfortunately (as his own behavior suggests), thugging equates to man-ing up. Poor thing.

i think the comments he made were ridiculous but he did seem to show signs of maturing after his suspension this season, in my opinion he can talk all the trash he wants to just as long as he keeps performing on the field, you have to earn the right to talk like a jackass, just look at TO, off the field hes one of the most hated people in NFL history, but he performs on the field and thats whats important at the end of the day.

coach fisher will not let Pacman get out of hand with his comments and i dont see him bringing in 'thugs' to toughen up the team so i dont think we have anything to worry about
