| Titans want Haynesworth bonus money The Titans are attempting to recoup part of suspended defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth's bonus money, claiming he is in default of his contract by missing time with the team. The Titans gave written notification to Haynesworth's agent, Chad Speck, and the NFL Players Association received a copy of the letter. "It's standard business in the NFL," Speck said. "Albert was aware that it would happen. We're expecting another notice that details the amount the team is seeking.'' The Titans are believed to be seeking around $287,256, which is five-seventeenths of Haynes-worth's prorated bonus of just less than $1 million for this season. | Re: Titans want Haynesworth bonus money Haynesworth is on his way out of Tennessee after all is said and done. This isn't the first of his deviant ways and I think Fisher is sick of it. Already reported that it looks like Haynesworth will be out of a job. |

| Re: Titans want Haynesworth bonus money Honestly, this isn't Fisher's doing but I think he will want out. Getting rid of McNair was a stupid move on the part of ownership and they are now watching McNair making the Ravens a better team and quite possibly a super bowl contender. Fisher is a very good coach and he can do better elsewhere.

As soon as the season is over Fisher has a job, if fired. Wouldn't put it past ownership to get rid of him. Add one more to the pantheon of bonehead management moves from the Titans/Oilers. |
