"America's Team" comes to Nashville for the October 1 Cowboys vs Titans game at LP Field.

While the Cowboys haven't looked spectacular, they're playing alot better than the Titans. We're actually in a 6 game losing streak if you count back to last season's 3 losses to end the year.

The Cowboys will be ready to win. T.O. had a bye week to get some extra rest on his broken hand so he's likely to be playing. TN native and former Vol Jason Witten will probably be pumped up to play in Tennessee.

On the Titans side, we showed real improvement between the Chargers game and the Dolphins game. We went from spectacularly bad to just bad. Collins had more positives against Miami but he couldn't convert our final drive when we had a chance to win.

Will Vince Young make an appearance against the Cowboys? I think not. He didn't play in the Miami game and Dallas will be tougher. I don't think we see VY until either the Redskins or the Texans game.

And I don' think we see a win until then either. We'll be 0-6 going into the Titans vs Texans game. That's our next realistic chance for a win and it's not close to a sure thing. If the wheels come off, we could be looking at a great opportunity to get a top draft pick next year.

Umm... "If"?

I thought the whole QB soap opera BEFORE the season started pretty much indicated the play was to get a top draft pick.

With Vince Young making his 1st start, the Cowboys vs Titans game has been more interesting than if we just had to suffer through another Collins loss.

We're 14-6 at the half and it feels more like a 24-3 game as far as the Cowboys manhandling us. But Vince is doing about what I'd expect, a few great plays and plenty of less than positive things that he should grow out of at some point.

Dallas offense is whippin the Titans defense pretty bad. Drew Bledsoe has ALL DAY to find his receivers and T.O. is having a great day.

Cowboys opened up the game to the tune of a 31-14 lead. Vince Young did find Ben Troupe for his first TD though.

Some teams - Titans, Browns, Raiders - came INTO the season looking forward to next year, simon. That's the benefit of starting Young now. He'll have a year of experience under his belt and hopefully the team can get him some help for 2007. Defense would be a nice place to start.
