| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? Jeff Fisher should not be fired. He is a good coach and will once again be a winning coach (someday). This debacle of a season is not his fault. If you want to point the finger, point it at the genius who decided it would be a good idea to dress the Titans in the cursed uniforms of the Houston Oilers this year. I am not joking. I am a lifelong Houstonian and trust me, those colors and that logo are synonymous with losing and heartache. Next year, when the throwbacks have been shelved, VY will bring the Titans back to prominence. And Jeff Fisher will be the coach. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? In the past I have really liked Fisher, but after yesterday's lost I have to rethink things. Fisher maybe a good coach, but maybe his time is up here and the Titans and Fisher both need a something new. Like Kurt Warner has done well at certain teams for the first little bit and then he wears out and then doesn't do to well and then goes to a new team and then goes great again at first. Maybe that is what the Titans and Fisher need to do. I am on the band wagon of Fire Jeff Fisher, because we could almost see this coming. Our first 3 games we lost be 13 points, and then the last 3 we have been blown out by by 100+ (30+ points a game). Yeah I know the secondary, really just eh corners have been hurt. But that isn't a reason because I blame Fisher for seeing this problem in the off season when Eric King and Chris Carr left, and not doing anything to bring in a vet to replace. Also I don't think Cecil is very good and that might have been the right person or the best person to take the D. Cord. Yeah he knew our defense but like Harper said in the Houston game, the coaches haven't made the right or enough changes when we needed. Sometimes our front 4 gets a rush but a lot of times they aren't and we need to blitz more. I think we haven't done enough to win or get a spark when we need it. We could easily with our running run be able to run a wildcat (with CJ or VY), HB pass, WR pass, or anything in that could spark the offense. I know our WR drops don't help but that is part of the game. Maybe we need to run easier routes so they aren't as def routes, like what UT does for Crompton. Then also not dressing Kearse for the Indy game, I don't see how not dressing our starting LDE helps the team. The team for the last numerous games, even the Jets game, the team just didn't seem to have much emotions or seem to care. Maybe the team has lost faith in the coaching staff. After the horrible lost yesterday it looks like the team might have gave up on the team. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? I was a big fan of Jeff Fisher for the longest time, but now I'm starting to wonder if he knows what he's doing out there. His unwillingness to play VY bothers me. I kept thinking as I was watching the game what more can Kerry Collins do wrong before Young gets played? Granted Young didn't fare much better but coming off the bench when it was freezing out and your team is already dejected I think if I was him at that point I'd have rather not gone in. Basically Fisher is saying they need to be losing by 52 points, its okay that Collins only made one complete pass for 15 yards, threw an interception, and fumbled three times, before he has the sense to put Vince in, if I were Vince, I would take that as a slap in the face. 45-0 at the half and Vince doesn't start the second half? I don't know I'm a big VY fan so I likely have a big bias but still...I think even Tom Brady would've gotten benched if he was having that kind of a day. Along with that maybe we need to switch up some personnel on Defence as well cause that was just ugly. But yeah, I'm for firing Jeff Fisher at this point. |

| Well, yesterday was a game that will go down in the history books! It is apparent that the team, coaching staff, owner, etc are not motivated or have the heart to bring this team out of a progressively deeper slump. I did however enjoy the snow though. How is it that Tom Brady could launch a ball 40-50 yrds and it be caught, and we barely get it 10-15 yards and it be dropped 99.9% of the time. Were we not playing in the same elements that the Patriots were playing in? I am a die-hard Titan fan. I am embarassed for our team, fans, and professional football players in the NFL. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? Sadly it is always the guy at the top that gets the axe but after the worst loss in history something really needs to be done to lift the team out of the slump. I'm sure, as in most cases, it isn't just the coach that is causing the problem. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? LSC I do think we are one of the few teams that the owner actually stands back for the most part, not always because we all know VY was his pick. But for the most part he lets the GM and caoch do his thing. |

If that is true, not working for us is it?? Is there any man on this team that can have enough grit to get this team motivated? Maybe we need a good house cleaning!!!! As everyone saw yesterday we had our field plowed - courtesy of the N.E. Patriots |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? That really has been a type of player the Titans have missed ever since Eddie George left. Since he left they haven't had that type of leader. They have had silent leaders like Bullock, McNair, Collins, CJ, and others like that. They haven't had that vocal guy to get the team pumped or pick them up when we needed it. Vince was suppose to have that type of leadership that would bring others up, not vocal like Eddie, but a another type of leadership that everyone else feeds off. We saw it his rookie year, but other then him we haven't had that leadership that we need. We need a Peyton Manning, Ray Lewis, Eddie George, etc... that will be more vocal (in a good way not in a Pacman, T. Owens type) that will get on to someone and get them pumped up. They do need that leadership and that is what they are lacking. Them seem to make a bad play or and them just get down and no one (coaches or other players) helps pump them up. |

If Bud Adams were to sell the Titans, the new owner may want to put his own guy in (think Jerry Jones hiring Jimmy Johnson for the cowboys). I think Fisher needs to go and soon, unless you want Jimmy Johnson, Jr. as the Titans' next head coach. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? Jeff Fisher has been with the Titans for 16 seasons and has only had 6 winning seasons . He has had the best record in the league twice but has no Superbowl wins. Many coaches have had a more productive tenure and won Superbowls and still have been fired. Leadership comes from the top at what point does he carry the blame. I live in Nashville and the local media has very little that is negative to say about him they all want to be his friend. I will say it again 16 SEASONS ONLY 6 WINNING SEASONS what has this guy done that is so great. I like him as a person from what i have seen from T.V but putting that aside what has he done to keep his job. HONESTLY |

It's all about winning, not having the nicest guys. I didn't want to see Eddie, D Mason, Rolle, or NcNair go, but they all got replaced because we had to. It was time and we needed to. Now it is Fisher's time. I did like he did replace his O Cord when Chow wasn't getting it done, but now fisher isn't getting it done. |

| Re: Who Wants to Fire Jeff Fisher? The Titans have an easy schedule from here on out. If they win out all their games, Jeff Fisher may get a reprieve. If not, then Jeff Fisher doesn't deserve to be the Titans head coach. |
