do you guys think that we should put Vince Young in as the starter for tonights game against San Diego? reports have already said that Kerry Collins hesitant, pocket play will be no match for the Chargers defense and in particular Shawne Merriman, so why not put in Vince? of course hes still inexpreienced but hes a scrambler, he showed in preseason he can convert very well on third downs which is something we have always struggled with so why not put him in for tonights game, see how he does i mean we already 0-1 so he doesnt have to have the pressure of coming off a winning week, what do you guys, and girls, think?

Well I haven't seen Young in practice so I don't know how far along or behind he is. However, I'd be reluctant to put him in there to be a sitting duck against the great Chargers defense. Obviously he has the speed to move around but you don't want him being hurried, sacked and rattled all day.

No way... far to soon to throw a rookie QB, the future of your franchise at that position, to the wolves. Keep the veteran Collins in there to take most of the lumps, maybe get Young some in-game experience with a drive here or there and then save him for when you've got a few more pieces around him.

I think the Titans will throw Young in the game today but Collins will lead the way.

Vince Young had a good game this week, but I think he is far to underdeveloped for the NFL this early. Maybe in week 8 or 9, but right now is to soon. As of Collins starting, I think Volek should start instead. Volek had good stats last year and he has been waiting for his chance. Why go with someone who has been out of the all summer?

I think Volek is just about out the door. He never showed any spark in preseason and I can't imagine the Titans are gonna move back to letting him start after they blew him off so bad.

maybe this drop in roster spots was the kick up the ass Billy needed to make him realise he ISN'T the amazing, talanted starter he thought he was and that he is gonna have to compete for his place just like everyone else does, Kerry hasn't shown to much to make us think he is capable of winning some games and in my opinion i would see how he plays next week and if we loose again and he plays as poorly as he did this week, consider putting Billy in, cant really do much worse than we are now right?
