| Loooooooooooooooooser! reports from titansoline have said that Vince "The Future" Young stormed out of the dressing room after the game because he was furious that the Titans lost their first game. reporters have obviously taken this oppurtunity to reiturate that Young has just come off a 30-2 carrer at Texas (but then again when someone is picked in the top5 they usually have a pretty high winning record) and Vince has explained that he isnt used to loosing. now maybe im looking into this to much but i forsee problems in the future with Vince, maybe loosing to many games and going on to many loosing seasons may spell an abrupt end to the career of a player the Titans hoped would do a Steve McNair and lead us to a Super Bowl. maybe in a few seasons if we arnt making the playoffs he will start looking elsewhere. now i know this is football and now-a-days its more about the money and the fame than playing the game, but i already see, just by his reaction after the first lose, that he may be a handful in months/years to come Tennessee Titans News |

Does he need to mature?...sure...but why should he take the lose with grace?...I rather have a guy who can't accept a loss... |

| Re: Loooooooooooooooooser! Exactly, Gotham and Titan 31. The guy hates to lose. That's what you want in your starting QB - an attitude that losing is unacceptable. Good for Vince Young; he may yet be a great NFL quarterback once his mechanics improve. Because he's got the right mentality for the job.

Which is better to find a player to work within a system or to engineer a system around a player? Last edited by etodd : 10-06-2006 at 01:05 PM. |

I was listening to radio this afternoon, and Eddie George was talking about the Oilers years, the 8-and-8 years, and how they got so sick of losing that they were determined not to do it anymore. Maybe the losing is what he needs to propel him. Last edited by LovelyLisa : 10-09-2006 at 09:30 PM. |
