LenDale White hopes to have quite the homecoming this Sunday

White, who played his college football at SouthernCal, was inactive in the Tennessee Titans’ season-opening loss to the New York Jets, but says he is poised to make his debut back near familiar turf, as the Titans visit Southern California to face the San Diego Chargers.

The Titans, though, care much more about what White brings to the game rather than who he brings. White revealed Wednesday that he is expected to play this week after being a healthy scratch last Sunday against the Jets

“That’s just a decision that was made. I don’t think they normally carry three running backs into the game anyway,” White said. “It’s a numbers thing, and we needed somebody at another position, so I had to take a seat. Travis [Henry] and Chris [Brown] did a great job holding up the running backs.

I can't see White making much of an impact, really. 4-5 carries for 15-20 yards or so.
