VY will never have stats like Peyton Manning, but VY dos win. May no always be pretty, sometimes they are ESPN highlight type, but his numbers are mis leading because teams will stack the box to make VY throw on them. That will open up more coverage for Nate, Britt, & Gage. Collins teams don't have to worry about him running so they have extra coverage guys to depend against CJ and the WRs. Just think last time VY started he had Brandon Jones as his top WR.
I just think also the coaches aren't sing our weapons the best they can. I think we should be taking more of the Oregon (complete offense playbook), Georgia Tech (triple option run playbook), and Tennesse (passing). Orgon has 1 good WR, TE, HB, & a running QB. Just about every run play has 2-3 options. Every passing play is going to the main WR or TE, which ever is more open. It's not a hard offense it just gives you different options ach play. GT triple option makes it hard for any team to guard each play. I know we don't want to open VY for a clear shot, but you could run that play 2-3 times a game and I bet it gets a huge play. And UT their WRs and QB isn't great so they simplified the routes and plays so they are easier passes with a lot f them coming off play action, and we have CJ so play action is very easy for us. Or hell go back to what Texas did with VY, we hav better WRs so their is a passing atack vs his rookie year we didn't and teams stated to focus on VY and not our WRs.
