plain and simple...we need better cornerbacks! Pacman Jones hasnt stepped up and played like a number 1 pick should, Reynaldo Hill had a good rookie seasons last year, Courtland Finnegan seems to have played well enough in the first game to get a nomination for the Rookie Of The Week award and that is all i can say about our corners to be honest. i didnt like that in the majority of the plays from the Jets game it was Lamont Thompson OUR FREE SAFETY that was getting the tackle, i think safetys should only be called upon as a last resort or on a deep pass, and by having Lamont getting some many tackles that means that the reciever/running back has got passed the corners or they have been exposed on the pass.

we have a good line, 3 EXCELLENT linebackers and 2 good safeties, but we are getting let down by our corners and i think we need to do something drastic to avoid that happening more or we are going to continuously get expoilted in those parts of the field

oh yeah without a doubt this is a rebuliding year, as was last year and probably next year, but im saying i believe the biggest problem we are still having is at cornerback, safety seems to be covered ok with Thompson and Hope, linebacker is definatly covered well, and maybe bringing in a few decent backups on our D line would be a good addition but we keep getting burned on our cornerbacks

Right again Gotham. Cornerbacks are the icing on the cake for a good team. It's amazing how a good pass rush can make corners look good.
