A seven yr. old boy was at the center of a Sumner county courtroom yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy had a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his Aunt, in keeping with the law and regulation requiring that the family unity be maintained to the highest degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed his Aunt beat him too and refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents he cried saying they beat him worse.

After realization that the family had a history of abuse, the judge asked him who he would like to live with and after two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare, the judge granted temporary custody to the Tennessee Titans Football Team, whom the boy firmly believes "are not capable of beating anyone"!

I read this one a couple of years ago. It was when the Packers were so bad. It was sent to me by a Packer fan.
I thought it was something serious at first.
But it definitely belongs to Tennessee this year.
