HELLO: Quarterback Kerry Collins (Oakland), wide receiver David Givens (New England), center Kevin Mawae (N.Y. Jets), linebacker David Thornton (Indianapolis) and defensive back Chris Hope (Pittsburgh).

GOODBYE: Quarterback Steve McNair (Baltimore), center Justin Hartwig (Carolina), defensive back Tank Williams (Minnesota), and linebackers Rocky Boiman (Dallas) and Brad Kassell (N.Y. Jets).

STORY TO WATCH: How many losses before head coach Jeff Fisher turns to No. 1 pick and Heisman Trophy winner Vince Young?

http://ads.nj.com/RealMedia/ads/adst...nfl/@StoryAd?xSTATS 'R US: Either Collins or Billy Volek will start the season at quarterback, but both may finish the season watching Young, whom the Titans took with the third pick of the draft -- ahead of two other rookie quarterbacks, Denver's Jay Cutler and Arizona's Matt Leinart. ... Chris Brown and Travis Henry combined for only 1,186 yards last season in the league's 23rd-ranked running game. Look for carries to go to former USC back LenDale White, the Titans' second-round pick. ... Givens' 59 receptions last season in New England were more than any of the Titans' three best receivers -- Drew Bennett (5, and tight ends Erron Kinney (55) and Ben Troupe (55).

WHY THEY WILL BE PLAYING ON FEB. 4: Young makes a phenomenal transition from the University of Texas to the NFL.

WHY THEY WILL BE GOLFING ON FEB. 4: Below-average running game, below-average run defense and below-average expectations.

WHAT VEGAS SAYS: 85-1.

Vegas is generous...I wouldn't bet on them if they spotted me 200:1 odds...not with the revolving QB situation...and as much as I like Vince Young...he is a few years away from making a major impact.

Now, see, that's wrong. It should be... "WHY THEY WILL BE PLAYING ON FEB. 4: Spontaneous contraction leaves NFL with only two franchises, Tennessee and New Orleans, and somebody's got to play in the Super Bowl." Sorry, Titans fans, but that's the only way you guys are playing February football this season.
