Titans Without McNair

Good writeup by the guys over at EndScore.com covering the TN Titans outlook for this year.

From their summary:
Quote:
For all intents and purposes, this is a rebuilding year for the Titans. They have enough horses on offense to compete and certainly the front seven on defense is good, but I don’t see much winning here, especially with their tough schedule. With the exception of the Jets in Week One, the next five opponents for them are expected to contend to make the playoffs - @ SD, @ MIA, host DAL, @ IND, and @ WAS. That would be a grinding stretch for any team and could prove to be a backbreaker for the Titans heading into their bye week in Week 7. Coming back, it could be time for Mr. Young to show his stuff.

I agree its a rebulidng year, but it should not turn into a "lets see how soon we can see Vince Young."...he is not as NFL ready as Culter and Lienart...the sky is the limit with him...but, its going to take a while for Mr. Wonderlic (low score......) to master the Titans Offense.

Especially if they intend to dump Volek. Nothing they're doing at the QB position's making much sense to me right now.

Okay, is this gonig to trickle down to the running backs?...All of a sudden are they going to tap LenDale White?...are we in a mode to jettison all players not on board with the future plans?

i dont think that Lienart is an NFL starter just yet, ive got a feeling we are going to see him take the same path as Eli Manning...

Talked about draft pick...drafted and working under a vetran...but never seeming to get to the top of his game

i no this is Eli's third year in the NFL, but i dont see him really becoming a great NFL QB, i dont know why but there doesnt seem to be anything special about him, i feel this will be the same with Leinart, just becoming a 'good' NFL QB
