Yesterday at Ticketmaster, Tennessee Titans single game tickets went on sale at 10am.

I was ready.

I skipped going to the kids' swimming lessons so that I could snag some seats. Had 2 accounts set up at Ticketmaster for faster checkout. Logged on one account via the PC & my cable modem. Logged onto the other account with my laptop & a dialup account so that Ticketmaster would think I was 2 seperate people.

9:59... I'm viewing Ticketmaster & they're saying sale starts at 10am. I'm able to refresh the screen about every 3 seconds on the PC, about every 7 seconds on the laptop.

10am, I'm in! I select 4 Titans tickets for the Dallas Cowboys game on Oct 1. It's fastest to just select "Best Available" for price, location & everything else. At the same time, I select 4 tickets to the Titans Colts game via my laptop.

Crap! Both say no tickets available!!!

I go back & try to get just a pair of tickets for each game, thinking I missed getting 4 together since it was already... oh.. maybe 14 seconds after 10am.

Nothing.

For the next 21 minutes, I tried these games and most of the other games that were of interest to me with zero results. Probably ran 200-300 queries on Ticketmaster during that time. But no, all the tickets were sold out for Titans games at LP Field.

It's just hard to believe that I was in on the front end so quickly and couldn't get seats when there were supposed 3000 released for each game.

Fortunately, I've got quite a few friends that are PSL & season ticket holders so I'll get to a game or 2. I'm also tight with a few online ticket brokers that I help on their web marketing efforts.

So maybe next year I'll have better luck. Either that or I'll finally buy into some PSL's so I can get to as many Titans games as I want.
