Tampa Bay's road woes

The Tampa Bay Rays finally won again on the road yesterday, beating Kansas City 5-3 to snap a seven-game losing skid away from their home field. The Rays are just 20-26 on the road, winning their Friday for the first time since a June 29 victory in Pittsburgh. And yet, they're still a game up on the Red Sox in the AL East thanks to their 40-16 home mark. So why does this team struggle so much on the road?

I don't know. Most teams in any sports play better at home than they do on the road. Sometimes, I think that Tampa Bay doesn't have that same amount of confidence than they do at home. They're a very young team and they don't have that much expereince. Also, I don't think that they'll win the AL East, the Red Sox will win. The Rays will fight for an AL Wild Card spot though.
