The Tampa Bay Rays and P Scott Kazmir have come to terms on a new contract.
According to the Associated Press, it will be "a $28.5 million, three-year extension through 2011, a deal with a club option that could raise the contract’s value to $39.5 million over four seasons." Kazmir is 36-30 with a 3.63 ERA in 100 major league appearances, and led the big leagues in strikeouts last season. Good move keeping him around, don't you think?
