The St. Petersburg Times is reporting that the Tampa Bay Rays have signed RHP James Shields to a new 7-year, $38 million deal. Good move?

Great move. They signed him to a 4 yr deal with 3 one year club options. They locked up a great young pitcher cheaply. They now have a pretty good 1-2 punch with Kazmir and Shields. They could be a force if Garza can turn it on this year.
