Tampa Bay signs Troy Percival

ESPN is reporting that the Tampa Bay Rays have signed RP Troy Percival to a two-year deal. Good addition to their bullpen?

It's worth a risk, definitely. Percival, if he can stay healthy is a nice addition to the pen.

Also, he's a World Series Champion veteran who can help the younger arms in the pen.

When he was heathy, he's a quality closer but he hasn't been healthy in a while and he's 38 years old.

I think this is a great signing. They are a very young team that could use help from a veteran like Percival. He can groom the next closer for the team.

Agree - he can be ultimately be an important veteran presence in the clubhouse on a very young team (along with Floyd)....
