When he came up a few years ago, he was a SS. The next year they moved him to 3B and he got called up again. He started at third this year, but then was moved to 2B. Right before he went on the DL he was logging regular time in CF. Where do you see this kid playing. Baldelli will be coming back soon and he is the starting CF.

I am curious because I have had him for a couple years now in my keeper league. If he is just another OF he may not be worth keeping.

Brendan Harris, their starting shortstop, leads the team in batting average, so it won't be there. Maybe second, although Ty Wigginton is second on the team with 13 home runs. I'm thinking possibly third base, where Akinori Iwamura is hitting under .280 and has an OBP of .365.

I like Upton moving around...he is on my team this year and it makes him valuable... as he grows and gains experience though it will not matter, cause he hits for average, has power and can steal...even in the outfield, he is a keeper.

You may be right. I keep forgetting he is only 22-23. I have been hearing about him for a few years already.

Come on man...Upton is not overrated, just injured...Rocco went through injures as did Kazmir...your blind dislike of a team in Tampa is coloring your judgement.

Whatever the reason. injuries, these guys in Tampa just never seem to pan out...And just when you think they have can't miss players...they all of a sudden stink....Jonny Gomes, Jorge Cantu....(Again, I can't prove anything and I really don't know, but it makes me wonder if those 2 guys ever took steroids)...

I have never seen Gomes play, but I hear he is injury prone. He can't get healthy enough to play.

Cantu had a foot injury last year that was hindering his swing. He lsot his starting job, and didn't take it well. Now he is in the managers doghouse.

That was the last that I heard. Things could have changed.
