Pity the poor Devil Rays. They're not that good to begin with. They get to be opening day fodder for the Yankees. And 10 of their first 13 games are on the road. Looks like it could well be a rough start for Tampa Bay, don't you think?

They have great young hitting, like Carl Crawford, Johnny Gomes, and star rookie Delmon Young. Once Kazmir emerges into an Ace, and everyone else goes back to single A and learns where the strike zone is, then they might win some more games.

I am a true Devil Rays fan. They are not going to be the joke of the league this year. They have a mean lineup. Their pitching is still their weakest link, but they will be improved from last year. I honsestly think they will battle for a 500 season this year.
